Keno Schemes That Work

It might not generally be thought of as the most fun game in the arena of gaming, but keno has millions and millions of dedicated followers. As well it should! It’s a constantly thrilling lottery-like game that’s a breeze to pickup, abundantly available in tons of different formats, and one that can yield mega-dollars for people who master its heaps of subtle rules. But let’s start with the beginner’s rules for now.

When explaining keno to newbies, some betting experts compare it to the lottery. This is at least in some measure apt, in that both games are essentially numerical. However, to carry that comparison too far would be to underestimate the great many unique traits that make keno so exciting. Not like bingo, keno users have the power to pick the numbers for each and every card.

Keno cards have a total of 80 numbers, but the user is granted an extra level of personal responsibility by being able to decide on as many (or as few) numbers as he needs. And it doesn’t take a super genius to ascertain how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark each of your desired numbers with a ordinary#2 pencil like you had when you were in third grade.

Now that you have picked your numbers, take the card back to the clerk at the keno stand. The girl will record those numbers and then hand you a receipt. Don’t drop this (potentially) expensive bit of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers you and wants help out, without a winning slip with you, you will get precisely $.00 for your efforts.

And there you have strategy number one: always be sure to keep your keno ticket. Let’s move on to something a bit more complicated, yes?

After you’ve marked your numbers, get yourself into a comfortable keno booth and observe the action unfold on a monitor. That’s where the winning numbers are displayed for us. If you have winning numbers, mark your card appropriately. Be sure not to move to slowly, or sit there praising yourself for too great a length of time. You must get back to the keno stand to redeem your winnings, and a new keno game will surely start within a few minutes.

Strategy number two: always be sure to get back to the keno stand on time!

Assuming you do not trust yourself to meet that 5 minute margin each time, you always have the option of purchasing a "multi-race" card. These include the same set of your desired numbers on anywhere from two to twenty slips. When the maximum number of rounds (matching the amount of tickets) is played out, you are then able to get off your lazy back side and go redeem your winnings.

Still another opportunity is known as a "stray and play" keno card, which normally lets you make number selection for thirty games or more. Heck, you can take a Swedish massage and not have to get uptight about getting back in time to retrieve your winnings. Most "stray and play" cards are good for up to a whole year after you by it!

So now you have learned a number of indispensable strategies for winning keno. If you are an adept player, they may seem incredibly obvious. However, it does not hurt to study up on the basics, and if you are a new keno player, every bit of direction will help make your keno wagering more enjoyable.
